Lyle Jaixen

He has 3 sons and one grandson and is happily married to Michele Jaixen. Lyle works as a Senior Corporate Logistics Manager for Central Life Sciences where he has enjoyed a 31 yr career, to date.  Lyle started playing trumpet in 4th grade and played all the way thru college where he majored in Instrumental Music Education and graduated from UNL in May of 1992.  Lyle has played with the River City Railmen drum and bugle corps (’80-’86), the Madison Scouts drum and bugle Corps (’88-’89), the UNL Marching Band (’86-’89) and many concert bands, orchestras and jazz ensembles thru that same time frame.  Lyle reluctantly joined the bell choir at Rejoice Lutheran Church as a sub around 2018 and was coerced into a full time member the following year where he happily continues to ring today.  Lyle joined the River City Ringers in 2025 spring season for a healthy challenge and loves it here.
