Raised in Omaha, NE, Michele has been involved with music in one way or another as long as she can remember.

Michele played the flute in high school and college as a music education major.  While she had to step away from school before completing her degree, she continued to play flute – sometimes for church and sometimes just for herself.  Around 2015, Michele joined the bell choir at Rejoice Lutheran Church and continues to ring with them today.  In 2017, after participating in the “Rusty Musicians Experience” (an event put on by the Omaha Symphony in celebration of Nebraska’s 150 anniversary), Michele connected with the symphony’s principal flutist, Maria Harding, and has been studying with her ever since.  In 2019 she auditioned for, and was awarded a place on, the Omaha Symphony’s substitute musicians list.  Michele’s delighted to have joined the River City Ringers in 2025 for their Spring season.
When not ringing or fluting (or working at her day job in international logistics), Michele can be found volunteering with the Millard North Varsity marching band in the fall or heading out for a run any chance she gets!
